HwyBuddy is started by Sandeep Kandola in 2020 with a strong vision to support and connect the trucking community.
With over 20 years of experience driving truck and trailer across the United States and Canada, Sandeep understands the real life of truck drivers on the road.
During long hours of driving, he realized that drivers need something meaningful to refresh their minds and stay connected to their culture. Life on the highway can feel lonely, tiring, and repetitive, especially when drivers are far away from home and family.
HwyBuddy was created as an online radio platform made especially for the trucking community. It brings songs from our culture, familiar voices, and positive energy to drivers while they are on the road. Music helps reduce boredom, lifts the mood, and makes long journeys more enjoyable.
HwyBuddy is not just radio — it is a companion on the highway. It creates a sense of belonging, keeps drivers mentally fresh, and reminds them that they are part of a strong community. Our goal is to support drivers, respect their hard work, and make every mile feel lighter.
